I pride myself on being a history enthusiast, and these are my four historical places that should not be missed in the wondrous city of London:
Shakespearean Globe

Watching A Midsummer Night's Dream performed in this iconic venue was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For three hours, my eyes were glued to the stage. I was captivated by the actors' commitment to Shakespearean dialogue, bringing every line to life with passion and energy. The audience was fully engaged—gasps, cheers, and laughter echoed through the theater, making the performance all the more fun. I left the Globe with a renewed appreciation of how powerful storytelling connects people across time!
Tower of London

Visiting the Tower of London felt like stepping into a living history book. Seeing the Crown Jewels and standing in the same place where figures like Anne Boleyn and Katherine Howard met their tragic fates created an eerie atmosphere. It made me reflect on how often suffering has defined human history—especially for powerful women.
Kensington Palace - Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Garden

One of the most peaceful places I visited was the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, recreated in memory of Princess Diana. Walking through it gave me a chance to reflect on how we honor the people we love, and it reminded me of the kindness and compassion she stood for.
Primrose Hill

In a bid to capture the city skyline views, I dashed towards the park before sunset and was not disappointed. The sky turned pink and orange, and the silhouette of the tall London buildings became visible. It was a calming way to complete a day of activity and sightseeing.
From iconic landmarks to quiet gardens, every corner told a story. It's a city that lingers with you long after you've left.
